X-Men Legacy vol. 2 #3 flashbacks

This issue contains two flashbacks, one of Pr. X, Moira and David Haller and another one of the New Mutants and Pr. X.

Only the first one was placed, on the conceit that David Haller was not around for the second one.

Given all his powers and experience with the minds of New Mutants (NM 26-28, NM3 1-5), David has had ample opportunity to learn of such a flashback by 2012.

The flashback depicts an accident in the Danger Room involving Sam, Roberto, Dani, Xian. The injured student looks like Doug but is probably Rahne with her hair miscolored as Frans and Jason Doty have remarked. Pr. X is rather callous, "Come now. It's called the Danger Room for a reason. Up." This early lineup of the team and the callous Professor X point naturally to the storyline in NM 2-3 where Pr. X is infested by a Brood queen.

Since both flashbacks are told in the exact same fashion, it makes little sense to keep one and discard the other.
