FBs in Marvel Double Feature: Avengers

Giant-Man (Henry Pym) and Scarlet Witch disagree about the placement of their M/DF:A 379/2(8:1-8:4)-FB. The other char Wasp has so few apps in this timeframe that she doesn't care who's right. But it turns out to be irrelevant because they're all wrong. Both options are later than their last joint app in AWC@8, but the flashback actually dates to long before that.

The scene replayed in M/DF:A 379/2(8:1-8:4)-FB is actually 2 earlier scenes squashed together.

8:1 is from AWC 69 where Wanda is shocked to hear that Hank and Jan are leaving the team but also splitting up their renewed romantic relationship. Jan's speech bubbles in 8:1 are a direct copy of 1 of her bubbles in AWC 69(12:6). Her 1st non-FB commentary over 8:2 relays the contents of her 2nd bubble and Hank's only bubble in 12:6.

The duo don't actually leave the WCA until after AWC 74. M/DF:A 379/2(8:2) itself shows Wanda watching them leave in Hank's Rover craft, which is never actually depicted in any comic. 8:3-8:4 shows them inside Rover where we see that their relationship had deteriorated more than they let on to the WCA. The costume Jan's wearing in these 2 panels is the same colour as the 1 she wore in AWC 74, different from that she wore in AWC 69. (Her costume is not pictured in 8:1 (headshots) and 8:2 (Wanda and Rover).)

(The statement in non-FB 7:4 of M/DF:A 379 that Jan resigned leadership of the WCA is a bit of an overstatement. She was only temporary chairperson during #69-74 while the team sorted out its membership issues.)

It seems to me that 8:1 can be omitted as the dialogue is an exact copy of AWC 69 and the image is just talking heads. 8:2-8:4 belong after the end of AWC 74.

Jan is in 2 FBs with Hank in M/DF:A 379 (8:1-8:4 and 10:2-12:5) that she subsumes into 1 combined FB. But now we have to split it. The 2nd FB remains where it is. The 1st moves and loses 8:1.

For me there remains a question over Hank's #382/3-FB which I think is 17:1 where Rover malfunctions. This problem is supposed to be the 1st sign of the trouble that erupts throughout the non-FB portion of the story in #379-382. As such I suspect it belongs at the front of the non-FB entries.
