Given the Jackie Gleason statue, the Oscorp mention, the Goblin left in webs for the police (M/KSM 1, Jun 2004), the couple status of Peter and MJ, the story probably occurs sometime between Pulse 5 and BND (Jan 2008).
During The Queen storyline (SSM2 17-20, Sep-Dec 2004), Peter gets organic web-shooters, does not need to make web-fluid so this would occur late in 2004. But he again gets organic web-shooters in The Other (Dec 2005-Mar 2006) so the organic spinnerets of the Queen storyline must have been temporary.

It reduced the period to examine but that was still too many issues to go through.

Then I thought it might be easier to review Mary Jane's appearances for financial concerns in their couple.

If they need a bigger place, it takes place before they move into Avengers Tower in ASM 519 and Peter refuses the idea to go work for Tony Stark, so possibly during the early New Avengers period. So I looked at Rhino's appearances after the Vault breakout.
In Marvel 1, it starts snowing, he thinks "Uncle Ben would be proud," and has to walk home because he's short of web-fluid. In SSM2 27 he visits Ben's tomb and the landscape is covered with snow and Peter says he's late because of a Rhino. So it seems one follows from the other (or rather M/ 1/2 was written to precede SSM2 27).
