First of all, thank you for all the work you've done, its wonderful, really! I have one observation and one question:

Amazing Spider-Man Annual 43 is supposed to be there? The last 2 pages are closer to ASM 258 ending than its current position.

Also any chance for a revisit to fit in the newly finished (and currently ongoing) Symbiote Spider-Man and Symbiote Spider-Man - Alien Reality mini-series?

Hi Pocokk, thanks for the observation. Putting ASM@ 43 just after SMF2 1 was a tentative placement. I need to go back and read those issues again. Also tentatively, i have Symbiote Spider-Man just after ASM@ 43 on my master list, but i've only skimmed thru it, and i don't even have Alien Reality yet! What are your thoughts on the placement of these mini-series.?

Hi Pocokk, thanks for the observation. Putting ASM@ 43 just after SMF2 1 was a tentative placement. I need to go back and read those issues again. Also tentatively, i have Symbiote Spider-Man just after ASM@ 43 on my master list, but i've only skimmed thru it, and i don't even have Alien Reality yet! What are your thoughts on the placement of these mini-series.?

For the first mini, there is an editorial note in issue one, p19 that indicates it should happen after PPSSM 91 and in issue 3, p1 that its after PPSSM 97 (but that's impossible, as it is clearly AFTER ASM 258), also it definitely should be placed BEFORE ASM 256 (as 256-257-258 are one bunch of issues), between there somewhere, but honestly that second reference (PPSSM 97) makes things WORSE!

For the second mini (only first issue is out), I'm not so sure, it is advertised/published as the sequel to the original mini.
The main antagonist Hobgoblin appears in ASM 255, on last page as the mysterious man who swears to destroy Spider-Man (this info is revealed in 257, but as 256-258 are connected, we can't use that) and in ASM 259 (but again we can't use that issue for break point, as Spider-Man conflicts with him in the new Symbiote Spider-Man Alien Reality mini-series still wearing his black suit). Prior appearances are pre-Black Suit era, so we are working in the blind here. Not so sure if its strictly 1-1 continuation with the prior mini, we shall see how the story advances. That's all I could figure out so far.

What if you just bring closer the whole Spider-Man Family issue, the annual and the 2 minis to ASM 256? (so after even Marvel Team-Up 145 or around there)? The order should be something like SM Family -> 2 minis -> Annual (?)

We try to go by what Marvel says in their editorial notes, but if it's impossible due to other factors, then we can't. Sometimes they just plain get it wrong. We'll have to wait for the second mini to finish up before trying to place it. Often the more important placement clues are towards the end. Just found out something... Not sure how this could be handled, its a very strange case I guess, but The Transformers #3 from Jan 1985 have a Spider-Man guest-appearance... who is in the SYMBIOTE SUIT! On p11 there is a (foot) editorial note says its before ASM 258, not sure if You want to bother/struggle with its placement in the order itself or not, just found it and cared to share it here, who knows...

There's no listing for it in the MCP's Numbered Alternate Universes 10001-999999, probably because of it's unofficial nature. In Transformers 64, Editor Don Daley stated that "Transformers and Marvel Universe are separate." I've often thought the original 4 issues, which were a mini-series that became an ongoing title, should be canon, but Marvel themselves say they're not.

Even if you wanted to take that tack... Transformers (US) #4 ends on a cliffhanger, since they knew it was going to come back as an ongoing by that point. There's no "hard stop".

She's the Circuit Breaker of Earth-616, very similar to Josie Beller of Earth-91274 except that she has been injured by others robots (so Circuit Breaker is a Marvel Character, not Hasbro's).
