Chrissy and I are news junkies. We eat popcorn while watching 60 Minutes and Dateline and Meet the Press.
Typically, during these shows, I'm trying to concentrate on what the interview subject is saying, while Chrissy maintains a running commentary on the clothes they're wearing, and the dog walking through the background, and the pictures hanging on the wall behind them.
Last week, we were watching Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC and one of his guests was Bradley Moss. He's the guy in the bottom right of this picture:
I'm trying to listen to the guy on the bottom left when Chrissy blurts out, "What is that?!"
"What is what?"
"Is that Agents of SHIELD? Behind Bradley Moss?"
I got up close to the screen and could read "Larry Young, Agents of SHIELD" on his desk behind him. You can barely make out the logo in this picture.
He was on again tonight, and Chrissy took a better shot with her phone.
Larry Young is a very minor Marvel character, one of the Deathloks or something; I've got to wonder if that's just a coincidence and maybe he has a friend named Larry Young? In any case, he's obviously a SHIELD fan.

Re: backgrounds in news programs
Kudos to Chrissy for catching that detail!
I had read about this on Bleeding Cool, in an article that also explained Bradley Moss' passion for Marvel characters and how that "SHIELD dossier" ended up in his office:

Re: backgrounds in news programs
Thanks! Cool.
I had harbored no illusions that we were the first/only ones to catch that, but still thought it worthy to bring to everyone's attention.
