Machine Man meets members of Alpha Flight (Sasquatch, Aurora, Northstar) in issue #18. This is a follow-up to the story in IH2 235-237.
In #18, Sasquatch asks Machine Man «You deliberately sent the Hulk to Canada. Why?». Machine Man thinks «He's referring to my first meeting with Greenskin» and a footnote clarifies «As opposed to the events in Marvel Team-Up Annual #3, now on sale».

My understanding is that they intended that MM 18 takes place after M/TU@ 3.
The story in MM 18 starts one week after MM 17 (a caption reads «Barely a week ago, Machine Man battled Madam Menace», referring to MM 17.

Would it be feasible to move M/TU@ 3 between MM 17 and 18 in Machine Man's chronology? I realize this might have some ripple effects, as the appearance of Alpha Flight in MM 18 is linked to UXM 139-140. Other main characters appearing in M/TU@ 3 are Hulk, Spider-Man, Power Man and Iron Fist.

Also, shouldn't Machine Man also list Mister Machine as an alias? This was his name in his 2001 appearances.
