King in Black: Symbiote Spider-Man

I have another thread on Symbiote Spider-Man but I'm doing one specifically for this series because some elements place it after Peter rejected the symbiote either in ASM 258 or WOSM 1, as acknowledged in the Mister E entry of the King in Black Handbook ("The events of Symbiote Spider-Man: King in Black #1 (2020) depict Spider-Man wearing his symbiote costume at a time afer he had rejected it; how this came about remains unrevealed."). Since I disconnect this series from the other Symbiote Spider-Man series, it gets its own thread. Those who are not afraid of my earlier headache-inducing attempts to resolve the discrepancies can venture over there but I have written this post to be independent.

Analysis: The symbiote was active in ASM 252-258 (May-Nov 1984), PPTSSM 98-100, WOSM 1 (Jan-Apr 1985) and then from WOSM 18 (Sep 1986 on).

King in Black: Symbiote Spider-Man 1 starts with these two sentences "At last, the world's back to normal. And yeah, Felicia might be annoyed with me, but she'll get over it."

I needed a spot where Spidey was in black, where he was involved with the Black Cat, and when the symbiote was active.
There is such a spot shortly before WOSM 18, leaving enough time for Brock to have his First Kill in the 1992 Spider-Man annuals and ASM 388/2.

I take the two sentences above to refer to PPSSM 115-116 (Jun-Jul 1986) where Peter had Dr Strange remove the Black Cat's bad luck powers. The world being back to normal refers to Spidey not being affected by Felicia's bad luck.

The idea is that after Deadpool's speech in DP:BIB 5 page 15 the symbiote takes over Parker behind the scenes and blocks his memories of having earlier rejected it.

Venom (Vol. 4) #7 and #11 establish that the symbiote erased Brock's memories and gave him false memories so it is technically able to similarly influence Peter.

Either due to the Watcher erasing his memory in KIB:SYMSM 5 or the symbiote's influence, Peter forgot he had been possessed by the symbiote after PPSSM 116 (Jul 1986) and never mentioned it.

This spot works because it's later than the first meeting with Alistair Smythe in ASM Annual 19 (Nov 1985) and also after Black Knight and Monica Rambeau first met in Avengers 259 (Sep 1985) and their return to Earth in Avengers 261 (Nov 1985). These were the two points that placed the series later than WOSM 1 (Apr 1985). With the Watcher also erasing Smythe's memory of it, it explains why there is no mention of it in his next appearance in ASM 291 (Aug 1987).

For the two Avengers it would occur between pages 20 & 21 of A 270:
A 270 (1-20) > IH2 320-323 > PM&IF 125 > PPSM 115-116 > KIB:SYMSM > WOSM 16-19 (1-6) > A 270 (21-22)

For Spider-Man and related characters, it's right after PPSSM 116.
