SHIELD & Hydra agents' next and last apps in 1991-93?
This one might be kind of a reach, but what the heck.
Hydra agents show up in W2 #50, and #56-57. I'm trying to figure out the last and next time *other* Hydra agents appear. But these guys pop up everywhere, and I could use some help.
A good starting point might be to line these W2 issues up with the Nick Fury series that was being published at the time. Nick appears in W2 #50 between NF3 #29-30 (with many other apps in there), and in W2 #53 & 61 between NF3 #32-33 (which also places #56-57 in there -- and again, he's got a few other apps between those two.)
His full chrono at that time is:
NF3 29

Silver Sable & the Wild Pack #1
Iron Man Annual #13/4
Iron Man #283
Deathlok #30
Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD #44, 46-47

Re: Hydra agents' next and last apps in 1992?
Going by publication dates of those Wolverine issues, I have Hydra agents listed in the following:
Marvel Comics Presents 93 Jan 1992
Spider-Man 22 May 1992 (second story?)
Spider-Man 23 June 1992 (second story?)
Nomad II 4 Aug 1992
Marvel Comics Presents 125 April 1993
X-Force 8 March 1992 and Alpha Flight 121 June 1993 both have hydra agents but are set in the past.
Unfortunately, the only comics I can get my hands on right now to confirm are MCP 93, 125 and XF 8. Alpha Flight 121 was the long-delayed Brass Bishop storyline and I'm assuming that the hydra agents were part of his assembly of villains.
I think Nomad II 4 was part of the Dead Man's Hand storyline, crossover issues may have Hydra appearances.
My records don't show much activity for Hydra during the 1990's. Was most of their activity confined to Nick Fury Agent of SHIELD? I recently completed my run on that series but haven't had the opportunity to read it yet.
Note to Paul: The Daredevil story in Marvel Comics Presents you referenced is in issue 93, not 92.

Re: Hydra agents' next and last apps in 1992?
Thanks, guys. I'm placing the Hydra agents in W2 #50 between M/CP #93/4 and SM #22 -- and I'm placing the Hydra agents in W2 #56-57 and 62 between SM #23 and SSWP #1.
By the way, while generating these placements I noticed that Spidey appears in Slapstick #1-2 *after* DD #300, while Daredevil appears in Slapstick #4 *before* DD #300. Buh?

Likely that at one time, they both agreed, then Spider-Man got changed with the Index overhaul, while Daredevil was left untouched.JephYork wrote:By the way, while generating these placements I noticed that Spidey appears in Slapstick #1-2 *after* DD #300, while Daredevil appears in Slapstick #4 *before* DD #300. Re: Hydra agents' next and last apps in 1992?
Okay, what about SHIELD agents' appearances in this era? Could someone give me a list, like you did for Hydra agents, running from mid-1992 to mid-1993? I'm trying to give nexts and lasts for the SHIELD and Hydra agents in Wolverine: Inner Fury. It was published in November 1992, but occurs in comics published in April 1993.)
Wolverine appears next in Terror Inc #9-10, and so do some Hydra agents, so I assume that that's Hydra's next app. However, the "SHIELD agents" in that issue are fakes...
Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Hydra agents' next and last apps in 1992?
Bump. I could use some help on this one ASAP.
Are there any SHIELD agents in Deathlok v2 #17 and Nick Fury v2 #47?
And where did some next appear after this issue? Are there any in Silver Sable #15, 16 or 17?

Re: SHIELD & Hydra agents' next and last apps in 1991-93?
I'm not sure about the other issues but SHIELD agents appear in X-Men 1 and Infinity Gauntlet 3.
Re: SHIELD & Hydra agents' next and last apps in 1991-93?
Thanks! I've edited my list to remove the ones you just clarified, and add a few new issues.

Re: SHIELD & Hydra agents' next and last apps in 1991-93?
Okay, next one -- can anyone help me deduce the last and next apps for both SHIELD and Hydra agents, in Wolverine/Nick Fury: Scorpio Rising?
For Wolvie, the issue occurs between X #24 and MCP #137. For Nick Fury, it's between Cap #420 and X #25. Any nearby appearances of SHIELD or Hydra agents would be amazingly helpful.
Also, Hydra's "High Command" appears bts in this issue, arranging the Carpasian coup. Does Hydra have an actual, defined "High Command" that I could deduce a separate chronology for?
This is a semi-urgent request, so help ASAP would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, guys!
