Re: Frank Drake in TOD3
Actually, the Nightstalkers series kind of referenced TOD3 (although those references weren't explicit and could be referring to an untold story), and that's probably why the handbooks have worked hard to explain TOD3 as canon. Still, I wish they would have left it out.

Re: Frank Drake in TOD3
The real-life explanation is that TOD3 was intended to be a continuation of TOD1 that ignored everything else done since (including, apparently, TOD2). It was Wolfman's own private sandbox, outside Earth-616 canon. In recent years, the handbook writers have worked hard to bring it into Earth-616. I'...

Another foreign comic that may need added someday (or maybe not, because it's a crossover):

Re: Obnoxio the Clown #1 & misc.
It's been a while since I read it, but the birthday party in Special Edition X-Men #1/2 isn't actually on Kitty's birthday, is it? IIRC, the party is to make up for not being able to have a party on her actual birthday (so it's some unspecified time afterward). In my head canon, formed back when the...

Re: Some Stories Missing from MCP
A similar sort of case was uncovered a couple years ago with Star Wars. Back in the late 80s, a comic publisher in Spain published a series of original Droids and Ewoks comics tying into the cartoons. LFL has no record of a licensing agreement with the publisher and the current LFL employees had ne...

Re: Some Stories Missing from MCP
I didn't find anything about Tom Brevoort's thoughts on it, but I'm willing to bet his thoughts are similar to Jim Shooter's. If anyone finds something on Brevoort I'd be interested to read it, though! :) Shooter's statement is most likely what I was thinking of. So there's probably no Brevoort sta...

Stories not clearly referenced in anything official (to my knowledge), and might fit into 616 continuity, but I can't say for sure because I've never read them : El Sorprendente Hombre Araña #123-125, 128-129, 135-139, 145-159, 163-173, 176-185 (Mexican original Spider-Man stories) From what I unde...

I can answer the M/TU 79 question -- it's because it's a Christmastime story, and it's been placed like that every since the Official Index to Marvel Team-Up came out decades ago....

Re: BORIS, Dr. Doom’s loyal servant
Should we be adding Boris? The FAQ says this: Characters who only reveal their first names are not listed, regardless of their importance. That's superceded by this rule, also from the FAQ: Characters who appear in more than one title are listed, regardless of their importance. Thanks for the clari...

Could Drake have been skipped because of this rule in the FAQ?
I don't know the character, so I don't know if "Drake" is his first name, last name or code name...Characters who only reveal their first names are not listed, regardless of their importance.

Re: Foreign Produced Marvel Comics Original Stories
It looks like I started this sometime ago as well. http://www.chronologyproject.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4278 It's nice to find that there are quite a few other countries as well with original stories. See this thread too: http://www.chronologyproject.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5781
