Posted: Thu Apr 22, 2021 10:53 pm
Year ago (Tarnax IV)
-------------------------
Empress R’Klll
Princess Anelle (also in flashback)
various other Skrulls (none named)
Galactus
Mar-Vell (only in flashback)
baby Dorrek VIII (only in flashback)
A few months ago
----------------------
Theodore Rufus "Teddy" Altman (Dorrek VIII, a.k.a. Hulkling) – also in two flashbacks with his supposed mother
William "Billy" Kaplan (a.k.a. Wiccan) – also in a social media photo with his Strikeforce teammates Winter Soldier, Angela, Spider-Woman and Blade
David Alleyne (prodigy)
Thomas "Tommy" Shepherd (Speed)
staff and other patrons of a gay bar
Krystal M’Kraan
Raksor
Bel-Dann
members of the Skrull cult known as the Children of Lost Tarnax (none named)
"Mary-Jo Altman" - only in flashback to Teddy’s childhood and in flashback to her death
Tanalth the Pursuer (not who she really is)
Captain Glory (Glah-Ree)
Mur-G’nn the sorceress
Super-Skrull (Kl’rt)
other members of the Kree-Skrull Alliance
Kree Imperium rebels (none named, all later killed by Tanalth)
Notes: The fact that Bel-Dann and Raksor both die after their meeting with Hulkling and before the end of the story indicates that their murders in Incoming #1 take place between the pages of this issue.
The social media photo of Strikeforce that Billy sent to Teddy must have been taken during that short-lived series.
The opening scene of the destruction of the Skrull Throneworld by Galactus is based on events depicted in Fantastic Four #257 but with some dialogue omitted and some new dialogue (about Anelle’s child) added. Even more dialogue will be added when that scene is revisited again in Empyre: Aftermath Avengers #1.
