Deja vu?

Post by Paul Bourcier »

Here are plot descriptions of two comics that came out last week.

All-New X-Factor #11
A male super-villain captures a member of a mutant super-team, intending to exchange the hero for his young child, who is in the custody of the team. The villain is surprised to discover that the team will not negotiate. The team launches an assault on the villain.

X-Men #16
A male super-villain captures a member of a mutant super-team, intending to exchange the hero for his young child, who is in the custody of the team. The villain is surprised to discover that the team will not negotiate. The team launches an assault on the villain.

Really? And on the same day??

To save space and have accessibility, I'm storing them in Draw-Boxes by year, title, than by issue number. All comics and smaller. After I complete the comic stage, I plan on moving on to Magazines, Treasury's, and other media (books, paperbacks, trades, ect.)Below, I'm going to post what I believe is a complete listing of comics for 1980. Using the UHBMCC this is what I have come up with. Please let me know if I missed anything.

Deja vu, indeed.

What's up with all the recent spammers simply copying and pasting what someone else has posted? Spammers used to show more imagination, in my day.

HA!

Yeah, what IS going on with that, anyway? I can wrap my head around spammers advertising for watches and porn and whatnot, but I don't get this recent batch. What's the point? Anyone have any idea?

This bulletin board software has a type of spam protection that can be used to prevent users from gaining advanced privileges - like the ability to post links or start new topics - until they have a made certain number of replies. So by duplicating replies that seem like normal comments, they're hoping to get whitelisted.
