There are a few of us here at the MCP that work on this project and the handbooks (and the recent Index series). :)

If anyone couldn't tell from the previews in some of the links, this Guidebook series has been overhauled and revamped from the format the handbook series uses. It's new and exciting!

I personally know a few people that have become comic fans thanks to the movies, so I wasn't kidding when I said get some copies for friends. When they see that a lot of the stories in the movies came from the comics, they might want to check them out! An example: One person I know saw Cap 2, heard the story came from the comics, read the Brubaker/Epting Cap: Winter Soldier TPB and got hooked from there. It happens!

You say buy copies for all of my friends, trust me, I really won't need to:

1) All of my close friends are VERY into Marvel already, especially Deadpool.

2) A lot of my not-so-close friends and class mates aren't huge fans, but they read the odd stuff that I tell them the films are based off. They're not devoted fans, unfortunately, but it's better than nothing.

3) My Dad has just been commissioned to write an academic book on Marvel, I can't reveal any details at this moment, but comics are pretty high all around the family and all our family friends because of this. A lot of people are reading X-Men at the moment.

Also, if Marvel ever wants a Wolverine or X-Men Handbook doing, you know where to contact me (and I'll work for free). Just to put that out there, y'know, just in case. :D
