DD 375, PPTSS 258 & SMMM

DD 375 & SMMM overlap. In DD 375 (1-25), Kingpin decides to return to New York. In SMMM (1-12), he arrives in New York. In DD 375 (26-39), he helps Matt Murdock at Karen Page’s trial. In SMMM (13-46), he participates in a gang war.

PPTSS 258 & SMMM do not overlap.

There’s a gap in PPTSS 258 to allow other “Identity Crisis” Spider-Man stories to wrap up. PPTSS 258 (1-18:2) finishes the cliffhanger from PPTSS 257. Then, ASM 435 happens (Spider-Man as all four identities). Then, Spider-Man (as Dusk) has to get a confession in S-M 92 (which is referenced in the second part of PPTSS 258). Then, PPTSS 258 (18:3-23) happens, where Spider-Man (as Prodigy) finishes clearing Spider-Man’s name (and references S-M 92), and then retires his other four new identities and resumes being Spider-Man. Then in ASM 436, he’s already back to being Spider-Man. S-M 92 has to be moved in Spider-Man and Mary Jane’s chronologies. PPTSS 258 has to be moved in Mary Jane’s chronology (she only appears in the second part).

Also, for some reason Fortunato has S-M 73 placed two years out of publication order, and out of order of the surrounding issues.
