Forum Rules and Policies

Post by Russ Chappell »

This document is designed to clarify the responsibilities of community members here at http://www.chronologyproject.com . Please read it and become familiar with it. We don't have a lot of rules here, but we expect the rules to be followed.

Do not post anything that is illegal.

Make your post in the relevant forum. This means reading the forum descriptions before you post. We expect the great majority of posts to be found in Marvel Universe Chronology. If you have a question or comment about chronologies of the Ultimate Universe, do not post in the Marvel Universe forum, simply because you want more people to read your post. If you post in the wrong forum, you'll be politely reminded of your faux pas. If you consistently post in the wrong forum, you'll be not so politely reminded.

You should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Disagreement--sometimes passionate disagreement--is to be expected here, but flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated.

You should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or indecent text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and may lead to banning.

You should respect the bandwidth of other users and sites. The use of inline () image tags pointing to data stored on third party systems for which you have not received permission to link to may be removed.

"No text" messages (where the entire text of the message in contained in the subject line) are deemed bad etiquette here, and may be removed.

No spam. If you spam, you'll be warned. If you consistently spam, you'll be banished.

Do not start threads that suck.

The moderators and administrator reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is *entirely* in the minds of the moderators.
